Engineering jewels roam the city of the sun and tranquility. Millions of Euros on wheels delight the lovers of motors daily.
It’s not only in summer that you can see real gems of automotive engineering rolling down the road in Marbella, but all the year-round, anywhere. You don’t need to go to the grounds of the Hotel Marbella Club to see a Rolls Royce or a Ferrari – you may come upon relics like this Bentley 1929 (check photo) as if it had come yesterday from its British factory anywhere in Marbella or San Pedro. But Puerto Banus is the ultimate showcase for any lover of engines: at any time and regardless of the season you will most definitely see some great four-wheel monsters parked alongside the yachts in the sun.
The automotive industry is well familiar with Marbella’s love for luxury cars, and has elected it multiple times to introduce new models to the international press. The famous Carrera “Gumball 3000” made one of its stops in Marbella in its 2003 edition, and the collection of “toys” was overwhelming. Top Gear, the most famous car TV show, made its stop in Puerto Banus.
The proximity of the ASCARI racetrack in Ronda is also a big plus for the lovers of speed, as they can drive their cars to the maximum. And if you prefer, you may even try out the real Formula 1 bolides on the circuit property.
Some of the jewels that you can find in Marbella include Bugatti Veyron, Lamborghini Huracan, Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss, Paganini Zonda R, Koenigsegg, Ferrari La Ferrari, Aston Martin One-77, Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe, Brabus, McLaren P1, Porsche 918 Spider… and many other unique “toys” that are really hard to see.
